Welcome to my Bed & Breakfast called “All’Ombra dell’Appia Antica”. The historical centre of town can be easily reached from our B&B with public transport: S.Giovanni, Piazza di Spagna, the Vatican, the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, the catacombs …. all the ancient Rome.
You will be able to stay in a very peaceful area full of public parks within the famous Park of the Appia Antica, on the way to the Park of the “Acquedotti”.
Nearby you will also find the Cinecittà movies studios, the Ciampino Airport and the racecourse of Capannelle.
You can reach the main train station “Roma Termini” in only 9 min.by catching the bus directly taking you to the underground “A”.
All’ombra dell’Appia Antica is a detached house, multilevel with a broad garden overlooking tall pine trees on the “Statuario” area. We have chosen to live here because we feel citizens of a metropolis but in the same time we love nature.
We are environmental friendly that’s the reason why we have a power generation solar system.
Coming to our B&B you can not only visit the “Eternal City” but also walk and bike in the nearby parks where you can find the atmosphere of the ancient Rome and the “Pontina”s countryside.
With Bikes made available to our guests, you can ride through the “Appia Antica” and see the “Aurelian’s walls”, the “Caracalla” thermal bath, the “Circus Massimo” and many other historical site.
We have made a small structure with special care for special travellers. Special because they want to live Rome wholly.
