Casale dell’Insugherata is located in a North-West area of Rome, a few kilometres from the centre, in the Riserva Naturale dell’Insugherata. You can enter the Casale from Via Cassia, just a few meters from what it’s called “La tomba di Nerone” (Emperor Nero’s tomb), a nearly 1800 years old Roman burial monument, and some 500 meters  from  Ospedale San Pietro.

This area still shows evidence of ancient civilizations, and one can easily come across  Etruscan and Roman vestiges.

With just one bus you can reach the world-famous  Via Veneto, the street of “La dolce vita”. From there you can reach any area by metro.
Those who are interested in sporting events can quickly reach the Olympic stadium, as well as the Stadio Flaminio and the Stadio dei Marmi and, for music lovers, the Auditorium Parco delle Musica is also easy and quick to reach. This impressive auditorium in its three concert halls hosts concerts of symphony as well as live performances of modern orchestras.

At walking distance from Casale dell’Insugherata there is a commercial area where you can find shops of all kinds,  groceries, bars,  laundries, two cinemas, a riding ground and several gyms as well as banks,  chemist’s shops, a church,  San Pietro Hospital, and many supermarkets.

By car you can quickly reach any area of the City or leave Rome just taking the GRA (great ringroad), 1km from the Casale.

Our Casale (farm-house) is a very characteristic building,  warm and comfortable inside. Green and flowery meadows are the distinguishing features of this B&B.

Inside the Casale there are many common areas for our guests:
The large hall, giving onto  the garden, where you can relax and read by the fireplace or watch satellite TV, or use a PC and surf the Net.
The large kitchen is also at our guests’ disposal as an additional service.

The outdoor relaxation and recreation area, located on different levels, offers many opportunities: walking in the park or by the pond watching its fauna,  or relaxing in absolute privacy in the sun lounge with shower where sunbeds, benchs and hammocks are at our guests’disposal. Secluded and attractive spots where the only sounds are the sounds of nature and the large Art-Nouveau gazebo are ideal places for reading.

Coming back home after a day spent visiting Rome your children can play outdoors and make use of the recreational facilities in the playground while, on demand, you can use our large barbecue..

Your day will start in the morning with a copious breakfast in the pleasant atmosphere of an elegant lounge or, in fine weather, in the comfortable patio or in the gazebo.
