In the territory, precisely at Precetto, there is a marvelous natural falesia, noted at national and international levels, where recently has been developed a sport climbing activity (more than 500 climbs opened).
In a marvelous natural scene of easy access, climbing can be practiced even at night, with the possibility of taking advantage of a climbing school that attracts many enthusiasts. Also constructed was a covered artificial cliff of large enough dimensions to host even the world championships. There are numerous possibilities to go down the Nera River in raft, canoe and kayak, both for experts and beginners, and also for children and the disabled with the assistance of the instructors of a rafting school.
It is also possible to ride mountain-bikes on a long and striking tract of the old road at the valley’s bottom that follows the river. There are also specially made mountain trails for bikes. In the zone there is also the possibility of practicing Hydrospeed, White Water Rafting, Trekking on marked trails, and Horseback Riding. The town sports center is equipped with a tennis court, a 5-man soccer field, two swimming pools, a soccer field and under construction a beach-volley court. Our lovely old “casa padronale” is situated in the old section of the 1200s town of Precetto, a suburb of Ferentillo.
The building dates from the 1500s and is comprised of 6 appartments (single, double and triple, that can accommodate from 1 to 7 guests) beautifully decorated with regard for the style and fascination of its historical era, and can accommodate a total of 24 guests. Beyond the guarantee of a vacation immersed in tranquillity, art and culture, Ferentillo offers its visitors the possibility of doing many sports activities: rock climbing, soccer, 5-man soccer, tennis, two swimming pools, hydrospeed, white water rafting, hiking (marked trails), horseback riding, mountain-bike, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. All of the apartments are decorated in a style that respects the history and architecture of the structure.
