The house has three floors. At the ground floor there is a spacious hall with a stone fire-place and from there you enter a veranda giving onto the garden where breakfast is served. From the hall a wooden staircase leads to the first floor.
The floor is made of TATAMI (typical floor of Japanese houses, consisting of rice stubbles coated with matting), on which FUTONS are set down (FUTONS are mattresses made of various layers of raw cotton fibres, faced with a pure organic cotton lining, hand-sewn and hand-quilted). The Futon is an orthopaedic mattress which aids air circulation: it originates from the ancient Japanese culture and its use proves to be a very simple way to enjoy a healthy rest.
The Zen room has a ceiling fan, a Tv set and ADSL wireless internet connection. Private bathroom with shower.
Leaving the Zen room you go back to the landing from which a wooden staircase leads to the upper landing with a large bookcase, and you enter the next room, the mansard.
The Mansard is a very spacious room with a double and a single bed in the ethnic style, a quaint old oaken floor and a sloping roof. The contrast between the bright colours of the curtains and bedspreads and the white walls is very effective.
This room has a private bathroom with bath and shower, air conditioning, Tv set, DVD player, fridge and ADSL wireless internet connection.

Breakfast time is particularly important, it’s your way to say good day to the world, that’s why you must have a good start!
Freshly-made bread, homemade biscuits and cakes, marmalade and jams, fruit squashes and cereals: everything we serve comes from organic farming.
