The apartment

The apartment consists of a double bedroom, a three-bedded room (with an additional bed, if necessary), a single bedroom, a spacious lounge with a dining table and a comfortable sofa bed, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.
Our price is indeed very reasonable and we are ready  to grant you a reduction for a long stay. You can also have a discount in low season, of course.

Attracting places in the area (Museums, Cinemas, Restaurants)

• Uci Cinema Marconi (Via Enrico Fermi, 161), very close to Trastevere.
• Many characteristic restaurants where you can taste the typical dishes of Roman cuisine, and several excellent gelaterie artigianali (makers of home-made icecream) which are often crowded also during the winter.
• Viale Marconi is a very commercial street, a real  shoppers’ paradise, where you can buy  top designer clothes and outfits at reasonable prices.
• Feltrinelli store,  a well-stocked bookshop, also in Viale Marconi.

Bus service

Several buses connect the area to the historical centre: H, N°44, N°870 (to Piazza Risorgimento, close to Saint Peter’s Square and to the Vatican Museums) and N°791 to Eur (an interesting district

Very well connected to public transportation. Tram n8 which destination is the heart of Rome, Largo Argentina  passes right outside the B&B and by night you will be left enchanted  and excited to admire the famous “gatti di Largo Argentina Forum.

In absolute comfortable and convenience you will be able to move around to the various historical districts of the capital: Trastevere along the river Tiber, castel sant’Angelo (castle), Campo dei Fiori. Do not forget that only a few steps away from the B&B , await the Gianicolo nights the world’s most romantic… you will get to enjoy a breathtaking view of the entire capital and the San Pietro Basilica.

The B&B is also convenient for whoever arrives on other occasions, it is in fact very close to the San Camillo Forlanini, Nuovo Regina Margherita and Bambini Gesu, hospitals.

The rooms in “Lucretia’s room” are furnished with a refined and elegant style and all equipped with TV, air-condition, blow dryer, private bathroom. Wireless internet and refrigerator.

About breakfast… how nice it is to wake up in the morning and have your breakfast they way you like it? Continental or American?

B&B “Da Mara” is also conveniently situated for the Vatican and St. Peters Basilica Peters. The B&B is just 600m from the Trastevere station and 400m from the new Quattro Venti station, from which you can take an urban rail to St Peters and to Termini rail station.

Tram 8 will take you from B&B, in a few minutes to Largo Argentina, an important public transport intersection close to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and Piazza Venezia. The B&B has 3 guest bedrooms, all with modern furnishings and TV , and each in a different colour.

The elegant guest bathroom has been recently rebuilt, is cleaned every day and has a whirlpool bath. The house owners are a young couple, Caterina and Giorgio, who love sport and have won various trophies, included for running marathons.

They will be pleased to tell you where the city’s most interesting spots area and … and especially if you are interested in running and athletics you will find excellent company for your stay in Rome.

How to get to us

From Termini Station: bus H to the “Ponte Bianco/Piazzale Dunant” stop. Or Metro Line B to the Pyramid stop and bus 719 with to the “Ponte Bianco/Piazzale Dunant” stop.

From Fiumicino airport: take the urban train to the Trastevere station + tram 8 (for one stop)You can also reserve the transport service to and from the airport or station.
