Though being located in  an area usually very crowded with tourists, this quaint street, which cannot be easily driven along because of its narrowness, still keeps the  quiet and charm of a  “Rome on foot”,  and the street market which takes place daily in  the adjoining Piazza del Fico is evidence of the vitality which  has always been and still is a distinctive feature of this part of the city.
