You will be staying in Tivoli, one of Latium’s major archeological sites as to historical and cultural importance, and Rome is just a 10-minute bus ride. What’s better than waking up in the morning in a healthy place, away from the city bustle, and relaxing while having a wholesome breakfast, though being so close to Rome? And Rome has its more than two-thousand-year-old origins also in Villa Adriana, an archeological treasure which you will soon discover. It’s just a 5-minute walk from our B&B.

Tivoli is a quiet and hospitable village which can be reached by car, either taking Via Tiburtina or the Grande Raccordo Anulare (Great Ring Road), and then the Rome-L’Aquila motorway. You can reach our B&B also by bus or train, buying the BIRG ticket (a special daily ticket) which can be used all over the region and allows unlimited travel on all city and regional transport.

Our B&B, which dates from 2007, is a perfect option not only for holidaymakers but also for those who need to spend some time in Rome on business or for a summer course, since we are very well connected to Tor Vergata University, Cinecittà Studios and Termini Railway Station.
Our guests seem to appreciate very much the quiet and comfort of this B&B, conveniently located in a residential area from which one can easily and quickly go downtown and reach all destinations of the City by a number of buses (105, 114, 312, 451, 552 and 558) and by the “Giardinetti-Laziali” tram.

The apartment is conveniently located just 500 meters from Tiburtina Station, a main railroad junction, and from the main bus terminal. Metro line B (station at 200 meters) connects the area to Termini Station in two minutes and six buses will take you to the most important sites and places of interest. Night bus service (night bus stops have a blue owl symbol).

Within easy reach: Teatro Italia, Teatro delle Muse, Villa Torlonia, and coffee bars, pizzerias, restaurants, ice-cream parlours and clubs, all open all night.

The location is very convenient for those who need to reach La Sapienza University. If you travel by car, you can avoid the traffic taking the nearby Tangenziale, a motorway connecting Tiburtina district to all main roads southwards up to Via Appia and northwards to Via Salaria, Via Flaminia and the Olympic Stadium

Meto B&B is housed at the first floor of a 20th century detached house , located in a green area at a few minutes from the centre of the city, in one of Rome’s historical districts. Here you can find plenty of typical roman “trattorie” which serve real roman cooking, as well as multi-ethnic restaurants. Bus 105 from Termini Station (in 15 minutes) and bus 409 from Tiburtina Station (in 10 minutes), as well as the Pantano-Laziali train will take you to our B&B. Night buses also serve the area. This is an ideal location both for tourists and for those travelling on business and, if you are interested in archeology, the nearby Villa de Sanctis Archeological Park with Saints’ Marcellino and Pietro Catacombs deserve a visit.
