4.jpgAt Mimì’s house a light and spacious two-bed room awaits you where you will be able to rest and relax after enjoying the thousand and one wonders of Rome.

The cheerful, welcoming and recently restored apartment is on the sixth floor of a building with lifts, and is just twenty metres from the Piazza Re stop on the Rome metro.

A short walk will bring you to the foot of S. Giovanni and Santa Croce in Gerusalemme (two of the seven basilicas of Rome) and if you continue on this pleasant walk you will come to the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, the Palatino or to Appia Antica; all the other places of special interest can easily be reached by means of good public transport communications; while shopping enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice among the innumerable shops along the Via Appia Nuova and the famous street market of Via Sannio.

Even thought the B&B is in the centre of Rome, the sound proofed windows mean the apartment is very quiet and air conditioning is available for the hot summer days. The bathroom is shared with the householder who ensures it is kept scrupulously clean at all times.

Children are welcome and there are smoking areas for smokers. Visitors from abroad can relax as Mimì speaks English and French well and “gets by” in German and Portuguese.

Continental breakfast is served in the spacious and pleasant sitting room: this consists of milk, coffee, tea, fresh bread and croissants, fruit and unforgettable homemade jams and marmalades using organic fruit and unrefined sugar; for those would like a different menu, this will be arranged, and each day always begins with a friendly smile!
